Destination: Nopalito

Motivation: Amanda’s Birthday

Review:  Once I found the entrance to the place, it was cool, very modern inside with a young, SF hipster crowd. You enter through a curtain on the side near the parking lot.  The great thing about this place is there is a free parking lot right next to it, this might be the only restaurant in San Francisco with this option. AMAZING.  I went to the takeout window first, which is around the corner and felt like an idiot circling the large windows with diners staring at me as I tried to find the curtain in the rain!  Food was really delicious, drinks were was tasty and refreshing.  Some highlights were the Cara Cara orange and blood orange salad with chili and lime, the carnitas and chicken enchiladas! Trina had a tomato beer which she swore had no booze in it and for dessert they brought Amanda a yummy popsicle and these little wedding-cookie like morsals with a candle it in. Charming! We had a great time and a lot of laughs and I really reccommend this place for  a low-key, good quality eats kinda night.
